Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Source and
evaluate suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and services required for
factory and plantation operations
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of coconuts, farm
inputs, and production materials
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production and farm teams to prevent
shortages
- Maintain procurement records and supplier databases
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory standards
- Inspect delivered goods for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with finance for invoice processing and payment follow-ups
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Requirements:
- Degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
