The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement to support ongoing projects and operational needs.

Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Vendor Management:
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services according to company needs.
- Identify, assess, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and contractual expectations.
Contracting & Negotiation:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to secure savings and ensure value for money.
- Review and manage vendor agreements to ensure alignment with company standards.
Procurement Operations:
- Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, RFQs, and all related procurement documentation.
- Coordinate directly with project managers, site engineers, and the finance team to ensure smooth and timely procurement operations.
- Track inventory levels and initiate replenishment when required to avoid stock shortages.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, vendor information, pricing history, and contract terms.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, stock updates, and cost analysis.
Requirements:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/tools.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
- Strong analytical and cost evaluation skills
