Job summary

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and dependable Private Chef to prepare high-quality meals for a busy corporate executive. The ideal candidate will create customized menus based on dietary preferences and nutritional needs, source fresh ingredients, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning: Develop weekly and monthly menus tailored to client preferences, dietary restrictions, and health objectives.
  • Meal Preparation: Cook fresh, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals for daily dining and special occasions.
  • Ingredient Sourcing: Shop for and select premium, seasonal ingredients from trusted suppliers.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a spotless, organized, and fully stocked kitchen in line with food safety standards.
  • Inventory Control: Manage food storage, supplies, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
  • Dietary Accommodation: Adapt menus to allergies, medical needs, and cultural or religious food preferences.
  • Event Catering: Prepare and serve meals for family gatherings, dinner parties, and private events.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor food costs and operate within agreed financial parameters.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of discretion and professionalism in the client’s home.

 

Requirements:

  • ·        Proven experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar culinary role.
  • ·        Culinary school training or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
  • ·        Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and nutrition.
  • ·        Experience preparing a variety of international and local cuisines.
  • ·        Ability to create customized meal plans for different dietary needs.
  • ·        Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.


Preferred Requirements:

  • ·        Creativity in menu development and food presentation.
  • ·        Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • ·        Ability to maintain discretion and respect the client's privacy.
  • ·        Strong budgeting and inventory management skills.
  • ·        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Working Conditions:

  • ·        Based in a private residence.
  • ·        Flexible schedule based on the client's needs.
  • ·        May require occasional travel with the client.
