Role Description

The Printing Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mushin. This position involves preparing cost estimates for printing jobs, analyzing project specifications, calculating material and labor costs, and ensuring accuracy to support pricing decisions. The Estimator will collaborate with sales, production, and procurement teams, maintain up-to-date pricing records, and effectively communicate estimates to clients. Additionally, the role involves providing insights to optimize costs and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review specifications and calculate material and labor costs
• Proficiency in preparing cost estimates and understanding production processes in the printing industry
• Knowledge of commercial, security, and digital printing processes, as well as materials and tools used in the industry
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with sales, production, and procurement teams
• Organizational and time-management skills with attention to accuracy and detail
• Experience working in a similar role within the printing or production industry is highly preferred
• Proficiency in using estimation tools, software, and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
