Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating animals with injuries or diseases to nurture them back to health.
- Research diseases to determine the best form of treatment.
- Implement quarantine and testing processes when dealing with communicable diseases to prevent transmission to other animals or to humans
- Carry out post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of an animal’s death.
- Veterinarians work with veterinary assistants and technicians who handle and provide animal healthcare.
- Guide and supervise to ensure their operations are in accordance with set standards.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
