Sales Lead

Responsibilities:

• Sell day-old chicks in volume every month and own your monthly sales target.
• Sell feed, vaccines, veterinary drugs and other inputs to the same buyers across each production cycle.
• Find and win new buyers: poultry farmers, commercial farms, cooperatives and agro-dealers.
• Generate leads through calls, WhatsApp, referrals, farm visits, markets and poultry associations.
• Turn leads into paid orders: quote, negotiate within approved pricing, close and follow up.
• Keep customers buying again and win back customers who have stopped ordering.
• Build and manage a pipeline of named buyers with expected order dates and volumes.
• Work with Operations so every order is delivered on time and in good condition.
• Keep accurate sales records and send daily and weekly reports.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years selling poultry or agricultural inputs (day-old chicks, feed, veterinary drugs or similar).
• A track record of meeting sales targets that you can show in numbers.
• Existing relationships with poultry farmers, cooperatives, agro-dealers or hatcheries.
• Able to prospect, negotiate, and close sales on your own, by phone, on WhatsApp and in the field.
• Good record-keeping and comfort with smartphone reporting.
• Willing to travel to farms and markets regularly.
• Experience at a hatchery, feed mill, or veterinary drug distributor; a qualification in animal science or agriculture; your own means of transport.

Remuneration:

• NGN 170,000 monthly base salary during the 3-month probation.
• NGN 250,000 monthly base salary after successful probation.
• Commission on every paid sale, plus performance incentives.
