Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Merchant acquisition and relationship management.
- Onboard and Train merchants
- Ensure proper setup of POS terminals and continuous usage.
- Ensure zero downtime of terminals.
- Act as the primary contact for support and issue resolution
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance.
- Performance monitoring and tracking merchant activity, transaction volumes, and revenue targets.
- Identify underperforming merchants and implement improvement strategies.
- Ensure merchants meet KPIs and service standards
- Ensure merchants comply with regulatory and company policies (e.g., KYC/AML guidelines)
- Monitor and report suspicious or fraudulent activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of merchants.
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and transaction targets.
- Gather feedback on competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide insights to improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- The candidate must have a BSc in Banking & Finance or a related discipline
- 4 – 5 years of work experience in a similar role in the banking sector.
