Plumber Technicians

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, and piping systems.
• Install plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, pumps, and faucets.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
• Replace damaged pipes, valves, fittings, and other plumbing components.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and identify the root cause of leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and other issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Repair burst pipes, clogged drains, faulty fixtures, and other plumbing defects.
• Test plumbing systems after installation or repair to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures while carrying out assigned tasks.
• Use plumbing tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
• Prepare service reports and communicate repair recommendations to supervisors or clients.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and maintenance requests.
• Provide courteous and professional service to clients and building occupants.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE, Technical Certificate, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent vocational qualification in Plumbing or a related trade.
• Proven Years of practical experience as a Plumbing Technician.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage systems, pumps, and sanitary installations.
• Ability to read plumbing drawings and technical manuals.
• Experience using plumbing tools and equipment safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors when required.
