Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair water supply, drainage, sewage and sanitary systems across the estate's flats, common areas and facilities
• Respond promptly to tenant complaints (leaks, blockages, low pressure, faulty fittings, water heaters) and log every job
• Maintain pumps, overhead and underground tanks, boreholes and water treatment equipment, working with the facility team and external contractors
• Inspect vacant flats and get the plumbing ready before each new tenant moves in
• Carry out routine checks to catch leaks and wastage early, and recommend improvements
• Estimate the materials needed for each job and account for all materials issued
• Follow estate SOPs, safety rules, and reporting procedures. Respect residents' privacy and areas that are out of bounds

Requirements:

• HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Plumbing Technology (or equivalent). Trade test certification is an advantage
• 2+ years' plumbing experience, ideally in an estate, hotel, or facility management setting
• Good knowledge of pumps, water treatment systems, PPR/PVC/GI piping, and sanitary fittings
• Neat, polite to residents, reliable, and able to work with little supervision
• Lives in or near Ajah/Lekki, or is willing to relocate. Must be available for emergencies
