Physics Tutor
Job summary
The Physics Tutor is responsible for delivering engaging, learner-centered lessons that develop students' understanding of Physics concepts and prepare them for internal and external examinations. The role involves planning and implementing effective instructional strategies and providing academic support to help learners achieve excellence.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Teaching specialized subject(s) to students in designated classes.
- Attending to all assigned classes regularly and punctually.
- Conducting class tests, periodic tests, practical/projects, homework, etc on a regular basis and marking all exercise books while proper records are obtained by students and kept as continuous assessment.
- Involvement in the conduct of afternoon session classes for students at designated times on the timetable
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Physics or any other related field from reputable institutions.
- Must possess at least 2 years of cognate experience teaching specialized subjects.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Physics tutor in a secondary school.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
