Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Photographer to join our creative team at our new studio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that align with our brand and client expectations, while bringing creative direction and technical expertise to every shoot. You will work closely with clients and the in-house team to produce visually compelling content across a variety of projects, including portraits, corporate sessions, and creative productions. This role requires a strong eye for detail, mastery of studio lighting, and the ability to deliver consistent, professional results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photos for studio sessions (portraits, corporate, lifestyle, creative shoots)

Set up and manage studio lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment

Direct clients during shoots to achieve the best poses, expressions, and compositions

Collaborate with the creative team on concepts, mood boards, and shot lists

Edit and retouch images to professional standards using tools like Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop

Ensure proper file management, backup, and delivery of final assets

Maintain studio equipment and ensure optimal working condition

Stay updated with photography trends, techniques, and creative styles

Occasionally support outdoor shoots, events, or client projects when required

Requirements

Proven experience as a photographer (studio experience is a strong advantage)

Strong portfolio showcasing lighting, composition, and editing skills

Proficiency with professional cameras (Canon, Sony, Nikon, etc.)

Solid understanding of studio lighting (softboxes, strobes, continuous lighting)

Skilled in photo editing and retouching tools (Lightroom, Photoshop)

Good eye for detail, creativity, and visual storytelling

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shoots

Basic knowledge of videography is a plus (not mandatory)

Must be based in Mowe/Ofada, Ogun State
