Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in dispensing and labelling prescribed medications.
- Receive, arrange and store medications appropriately.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and medication inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and received.
- Assist with stock ordering and inventory management.
- Provide basic medication information to patients within the scope of practice.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy.
- Report low stock, expired products and discrepancies promptly.
- Comply with pharmacy regulations, safety standards and organisational policies.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- A minimum of a diploma in a related field
