Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling medications accurately
- Receive and verify prescription orders from patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Manage inventory of medications and supplies, including restocking and expiration checks
- Guide customers on over-the-counter medications and general healthcare questions (under pharmacist supervision)
- Operate pharmacy software and POS systems to process transactions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Support quality assurance and assist in reporting errors or discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of HND.
- No experience/ less than 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
