Role Purpose
To dispense medications safely, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee daily retail pharmacy operations while providing professional patient care.
Job Description
Dispense prescription medicines accurately and ethically.
Review prescriptions for correctness, interactions, and safety.
Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Recommend approved OTC medicines where appropriate.
Ensure compliance with PCN, NAFDAC, and pharmacy regulations.
Maintain required pharmacy records and controlled drug registers.
Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
Prevent expired products, losses, and pilferage.
Address customer concerns professionally.
Requirement:
B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree.
Valid license.
1–3 years retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Availability for alternate day, weekends and public holidays.
