Job summary
This role is central to shaping how users experience and adopt the Pathfinder App. You will develop and execute product marketing strategies, lead launch campaigns, build compelling visual and written messaging, and collaborate across teams to ensure a successful market introduction. You will also oversee brand consistency, app-focused creative assets, and performance-driven content that drives user acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Responsibilities:
Product Launch & Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Lead the end-to-end launch of the Pathfinder App, overseeing positioning, messaging, user communication, and promotional rollouts.
- Develop multi-channel campaigns (social, email, content, ads, influencers) to drive awareness, sign-ups, and activation.
- Create launch decks, user guides, onboarding scripts, promo videos, and app store creatives.
Brand Positioning & Creative Direction:
- Establish and maintain a consistent brand identity across all app marketing materials.
- Oversee the creation of visuals, app screens, landing pages, graphics, animations, and short-form promotional videos.
- Build brand systems, templates, and style guides that internal teams and partners can use.
Content & Messaging Development:
- Craft clear, persuasive product messaging that communicates the app’s value propositions to students, job seekers, and professionals.
- Produce copy for ads, social campaigns, push notifications, blogs, email sequences, and the app onboarding journey.
- Translate app features and technical details into relatable, benefit-driven communication.
Creative Asset Development:
- Lead the design and production of marketing collateral.
- Brochures, pitch decks, video creatives, app promotion kits, social ads, influencer toolkits, etc.
- Use design and video editing skills to create high-performing visual assets across platforms.
Market, User & Competitor Research:
- Conduct research on target users, competitor apps, industry trends, and emerging content/design patterns.
- Apply insights to refine product messaging, app features, and campaign strategies.
- Provide monthly reports on user behavior patterns and app market trends.
Performance Marketing Collaboration:
- Work with the Digital Marketing team to run performance-driven app campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Google.
- Manage A/B tests for creatives, messaging, and user flows to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Analyze app metrics such as activation rate, user drop-off, session time, feature usage, and funnel performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Product Development on feature roll-outs, user onboarding, and in-app communication strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Digital Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure aligned messaging and consistent execution.
- Coordinate with freelancers (designers, videographers, etc.) to deliver high-quality creative outputs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role, ideally within tech, apps, or digital products.
- Strong background in brand management, graphics design, and content creation.
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe suite, Canva, Figma) and video editing software.
- Experience launching apps or leading major product campaigns is a strong plus.
- Skilled in developing go-to-market plans, product positioning, and high-converting creatives.
- Strong understanding of user behavior, data analytics, and performance marketing.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities—both written and visual.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple fast-moving projects.
