Job summary

We are seeking a smart, proactive, and highly dependable Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (MD). The successful candidate will provide executive, administrative, coordination, and transportation support to the MD and will be required to manage multiple responsibilities with a high level of discretion and professionalism. Experience in the construction industry is required, with the ability to understand project-related activities, communicate with contractors and other stakeholders, and handle confidential business information professionally.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the MD's daily schedule, appointments, meetings, and engagements.
  • Coordinate and follow up on tasks and instructions assigned by the MD.
  • Follow up on project activities, procurement, payments, submissions, and other outstanding matters as directed.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure important tasks receive timely attention.
  • Prepare regular updates and project summaries for the MD.
  • Compile weekly/monthly reports for management.
  • Monitor critical procurement supplies and delivery.
  • Drive the MD safely and professionally to meetings, project sites, client appointments, and other official engagements.
  • Ensure the MD’s official vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained, including monitoring servicing, repairs, and fuel requirements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, client, and MD-related information.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Managing Director.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of HND/Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of construction/project environments and industry terminology.
  • Valid Nigerian driver’s license and good driving experience
  • Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic patterns
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Managing Director
