Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's automotive parts inventory and warehouse operations.
- Develop and maintain efficient inventory control systems.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical parts.
- Forecast inventory requirements based on sales and workshop demand.
- Coordinate procurement activities with approved suppliers.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and reporting.
- Minimise stock losses, obsolete inventory, and stock discrepancies.
- Optimise warehouse layout and storage processes.
- Work closely with workshop, procurement, and finance teams to support operations.
- Prepare inventory reports and recommend improvements to inventory performance.
- Lead and develop inventory and warehouse personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory, warehouse, or parts management, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience managing automotive parts inventory is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
- Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and record management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
