Job Summary
The Partnership & Business Development Lead will play a central role in expanding the reach and adoption of our SaaS product across Africa and international markets. This role is ideal for someone strategic, relationship-focused, and passionate about helping businesses leverage technology to scale. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, establishing long-term partnerships, managing affiliates and reseller networks, and building strong connections with SME communities, business associations, cooperatives, influencers, and other strategic groups. Your key mission is to champion our SaaS product and ensure it reaches the businesses who need it most. This position is suited to someone who thrives in growth environments, understands the business landscape, and knows how to convert relationships into meaningful business outcomes.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with SMEs, business groups, associations, influencers, and reseller partners.
- Grow and manage the affiliate and partnership networks for our SaaS product.
- Identify strategic collaboration opportunities across industries and regions.
- Represent MBZ Technology in meetings, presentations, demos, and community engagements.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to convert partnership channels into sustainable revenue.
- Provide insights that shape product adoption and market expansion strategies.
- Track, monitor, and report partnership performance and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Understands the SME landscape and can connect with business owners, founders, and community leaders.
- Is confident presenting our SaaS product to partners, associations, and potential collaborators.
- Can develop and manage affiliate programs, reseller structures, and partnership pipelines.
- Thinks creatively about outreach, engagement, and strategic expansion.
- Has strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Is organized, self-driven, and capable of delivering measurable results.
- Has experience in business development, partnerships, or growth roles (experience in SaaS or tech is an advantage).
