Company Description

Concern for Women and Children Development Foundation (COWACDI) is a women-led organization dedicated to improving the wellbeing of women and children in Nigeria. The organization focuses on reducing the suffering of vulnerable groups during crises, such as conflicts and natural disasters. COWACDI operates primarily in the North East of Nigeria, with an emphasis on Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa states (known as the BAY states) due to longstanding humanitarian challenges in the region. The foundation is driven by a mission to provide support and relief to the most vulnerable populations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Maiduguri for a Partnership and Operation Manager. The individual in this role will oversee partnerships and operational strategies, manage collaborations with stakeholders, and ensure the seamless execution of organizational programs. Responsibilities include fostering relationships with partners, coordinating operations to achieve programmatic goals, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating project performance and preparing reports to improve outcomes and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, and building collaborations
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills, with the ability to streamline processes
  • Proficiency in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure accountability and continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced humanitarian environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in nonprofit or humanitarian settings, particularly within conflict-affected regions, is an advantage
  • Understanding of cultural sensitivities and experience working with vulnerable populations
