Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outdoor Sales Representative to drive business growth and expand our customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, developers, retailers, and individual customers.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct regular visits to construction sites, building projects, retail outlets, and prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, builders, developers, property owners, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Promote the company's range of tiles, sanitary wares, and other building finishing products.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.
  • Follow up on quotations, enquiries, and sales opportunities to maximize conversions.
  • Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
  • Work closely with the Indoor Sales team to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfilment.
  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and customer acquisition targets.
  • Prepare daily call reports and submit weekly sales performance reports.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, promotional events, and product launches.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of an  HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in outdoor sales, preferably within the building materials, ceramics, tiles, sanitary ware, or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Good knowledge of the Lagos market and construction industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Remuneration: NGN 300,000.
