Operations Lead

Responsibilities:

• Review factory layout, production flow, utilities, and operational readiness.
• Validate equipment installation, ergonomics, and workflow efficiency.
• Develop practical production SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Establish hygiene, sanitation, traceability, and production control procedures.
• Support equipment commissioning, production trials, and start‑up activities.
• Work with equipment suppliers and technical teams to ensure smooth ramp‑up.
• Prepare the facility for GMP, HACCP, NAFDAC, SON, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation, processes, and controls meet food safety and compliance standards.
• Train production and quality teams on agreed operating procedures.
• Build operator and supervisor capability for consistent, compliant production.
• Establish key production controls for yield, waste, downtime, and output.
• Implement practical monitoring systems to ensure stable and predictable operations.

Requirements:

• Strong food manufacturing or factory commissioning experience.
• Practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP, NAFDAC, SON and food safety systems.
• Experience developing SOPs, production systems, and operational documentation.
• Hands‑on, structured, and comfortable working directly with factory teams and equipment suppliers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑moving start‑up environment.
