Operations Manager
Job summary
Our client seeks a hands-on, accountable Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a growing electrical and building infrastructure business across two locations. This is a delivery role for someone who takes full ownership, holds a team to standard, and closes gaps rather than reporting them.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, inventory, store, and dispatch across both locations.
- Take ownership of accurate stock control, including physical stock counts and keeping the inventory system current.
- Build and enforce dispatch and order-verification processes so goods delivered match what was ordered.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely, accurate delivery to customers.
- Hold the operations team accountable, review their work, and report progress with evidence.
- Manage operational expenses and drive cost control.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks promptly.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years' operations or inventory management experience, ideally in trading, retail, distribution, or a product-based business.
- Strong inventory and stock-control discipline, comfortable with POS or inventory software.
- Genuine ownership and accountability; able to deliver assigned tasks on time and flag blockers early, not after the fact.
- Ability to lead and hold a team to a standard.
- Organised, structured, and comfortable with reporting and evidence.
- Able to work across two Lagos locations.
- A verifiable guarantor.
Location: Gbagada, Lagos (with movement to a second location in Lakowe as required)
Remuneration: NGN 500,000
