Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of LuxChairs.
• Coordinate activities across Project Management, Production, Procurement, Quality Control, Stores, and other operational functions.
• Establish clear operational workflows and ensure that agreed processes are followed.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Ensure that departments work together rather than operating in silos.
• Develop systems that improve efficiency, accountability and predictability.
• Continuously review how the business operates and recommend improvements.

Project & Delivery Performance:

• Monitoring overall project delivery performance.
• Identifying recurring causes of project delays.
• Ensuring effective coordination between Project Management and Production.
• Ensuring production capacity aligns with the volume of confirmed projects.
• Escalating operational issues that could affect customer delivery.
• Reviewing project performance and identifying systemic problems.
• Ensuring that lessons from delayed or problematic projects are converted into process improvements.

Production & Capacity:

• Work closely with the Production Manager to understand production capacity and constraints.
• Ensure production schedules are aligned with confirmed project requirements.
• Monitor production output and turnaround times.
• Identify labour, equipment, material, or process constraints affecting production.
• Ensure production bottlenecks are escalated and resolved promptly.
• Support management in planning for increased production capacity as the business grows.
• Monitor rework, wastage and production inefficiencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a BSC
• 4 years of previous experience in a similar role
