Operations Manager
Job summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for building and managing the operational infrastructure of CULTUR FM. This includes overseeing event logistics, internal team systems, vendor relationships, production workflows, and operational planning across all verticals of the business.

Responsibilities:
Operational excellence:
- Developing event operations playbooks and checklists
- Coordinating vendors, including venues, sound engineers, lighting teams, videographers, and security
- Managing event production timelines and schedules
- Ensuring venue requirements and logistics are met
- Overseeing staffing and crew coordination
- Supporting on-site event operations when required
- Managing load-in and load-out logistics
Production & Content Operations:
- Coordinating filming logistics at events
- Standardising camera and audio production setups
- Managing content delivery pipelines between videographers, editors, and the media team
- Ensuring content is delivered according to release schedules
- Managing production equipment logistics
Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Venues
- Production companies
- Security teams
- Photographers and videographers
- Sound engineers
- Event suppliers
Internal Team Workflows:
- Developing internal workflows for projects and events
- Maintaining operational documentation and SOPs
- Managing project management systems and task tracking
- Coordinating team communication across departments
- Running internal operations meetings when necessary
Talent & DJ Coordination:
- DJ scheduling and confirmations
- Managing artist logistics and riders
- Coordinating with DJs on event production and filming requirements
- Ensuring communication between talent, event teams, and production crews
Brand Partnership Operations:
- Managing operational requirements for brand activations
- Coordinating sponsor integrations at events
- Ensuring deliverables and partnership commitments are fulfilled
- Working with the team to deliver high-quality brand experiences
Budget & Operational Planning:
- Tracking event production costs
- Managing operational budgets
- Coordinating supplier payments
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
Supporting New Business Verticals:
- Apparel and merchandise
- Paid subscription content platforms
- Community experiences and cultural events
- Media and digital content platforms
Requirements:
- Experience in events, music, media, or creative industries
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience coordinating large events or productions
- Ability to build systems and operational frameworks
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Calm problem-solving ability in fast-paced environments
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with tools such as Notion, project management software, or production planning tools is a plus.
