Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Company Operations Management
- Develop and implement operational strategies to align with the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Oversee and optimize cross-functional workflows, including HR, finance, IT, and administration.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
Localization Operations Leadership
- Manage end-to-end localization processes, including translation, localization engineering, quality assurance, and project management.
- Streamline localization workflows to improve turnaround times, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Collaborate with sales, account management, and production teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Evaluate and implement localization tools, technologies, and platforms to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the localization market.
Strategic Planning and Growth
- Partner with the executive team to define and execute the company’s long-term operational and growth strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation across all operational areas.
- Drive initiatives to expand service offerings, enter new markets, and increase revenue streams.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
Client and Vendor Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee vendor management, including the selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation of localization partners.
- Resolve escalated client and operational issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Localization, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the localization or language services industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of localization tools, technologies, and processes (e.g., CAT tools, TMS, MT).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
