Operations and Commercial Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and operational support to the operations and commercial teams
• Coordinate customer orders, quotations, and documentation from inquiry through to delivery
• Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related commercial documents
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely execution of business transactions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to maintain stock availability
• Maintain accurate records of sales, procurement, contracts, and operational activities
• Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, operational activities, and key business metrics
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and escalate complex matters where necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of experience in operations, commercial administration, or supply chain
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or consumer goods is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in accounting or ERP software (Sage, Peachtree, or QuickBooks) is an added advantage
• Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and functions simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Must be based in Lagos and available to work fully on-site
