Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across all GeoInfoTech services: drones, GIS & remote sensing, land surveying, IT services, and web development.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Coordinate and supervise teams, ensuring tasks are executed effectively and deadlines are met.
- Monitor and optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, business development, IT, and project teams) to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery.
- Analyze operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and risk management for operational initiatives.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, including workflow optimization and automation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for operational issues, escalations, and decision-making.
- Support strategic business goals by aligning operational activities with company objectives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience operating drones for surveying, mapping, or geospatial data collection.
- NCAA Remote Pilot Certification or equivalent authorization to operate drones commercially in Nigeria.
- Strong understanding of drone flight operations, safety protocols, and airspace regulations.
- Experience with surveying and mapping software such as Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Agisoft, ArcGIS, or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of topographic surveys, land mapping, and geospatial data processing.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied environmental conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and clients.
