Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the recycling plant.
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and on schedule.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Supervise factory managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
- Coordinate production planning and scheduling activities.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensure an adequate supply of raw materials for production.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with collectors, aggregators, waste pickers, and scrap dealers.
- Negotiate pricing and supply agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure a consistent supply of quality recyclable materials to meet production needs.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Visit suppliers and recycling collection points to assess supply capacity and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSC
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
