Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Office Support & Administrative Tasks
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, filing, and general document handling.
- Run office errands, including delivering documents and handling inter-departmental support tasks.
- Prepare and organize meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
- Support in receiving, organizing, and distributing office supplies.
Cleaning & Office Maintenance
- Ensure all office areas, including workspaces, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and reception, are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Maintain hygiene standards in high-touch and common areas throughout the day.
- Monitor cleaning materials and promptly notify the admin team when supplies are running low.
Facility & Environment Support
- Keep the office environment tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with simple facility tasks such as switching lights on/off and arranging office furniture when needed.
- Support with receiving deliveries and properly storing items.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the admin department immediately.
Special Cleaning Tasks
- Clean and maintain carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks periodically (e.g., floor scrubbing, wall cleaning, polishing furniture).
- Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas if applicable (entrances, parking lots, or walkways).
- Handle the cleaning of equipment or items carefully to avoid damage.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling office materials and tasks.
- Follow company policies on hygiene, safety, and operational conduct.
- Execute assigned tasks promptly and work cooperatively with the admin team.
- Display a respectful, courteous, and positive attitude at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE; OND certification is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar role (office assistant) is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to assigned duties.
