Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Lesson Planning:
- Play-Based Learning: Teachers design activities that blend fun with foundational skills like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
- Creativity & Exploration: They encourage self-expression through storytelling, arts and crafts, and music.
Holistic Child Development:
- Social and Emotional Growth: They supervise playtimes and teach children essential life skills like sharing, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- Cognitive Growth: Teachers track developmental milestones to help each child build focus, rich vocabulary, and number sense.
Communication and Assessment:
- Parental Partnerships: Teachers provide regular progress updates and offer guidance for continued at-home learning.
- Collaboration: They manage and work closely with learning support assistants and other school staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of NCE.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
