NDT Technician
Job summary
The NDT Technician will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing and inspections on equipment and materials to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves identifying defects, preparing inspection reports, and supporting asset integrity and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on equipment, materials, and components using approved inspection methods and techniques.
- Inspect assets for defects by identifying cracks, corrosion, weld flaws, and other discontinuities that may affect integrity or performance.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports by documenting test results, findings, and recommendations accurately and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards by following established procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations during inspections.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure testing instruments are accurate, functional, and ready for use.
- Support maintenance and asset integrity activities by providing inspection data to assist in repair, maintenance, and reliability decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to communicate inspection findings, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Must know NDT inspection methods and industry standards.
- Able to interpret inspection results and prepare accurate technical reports.
- Possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant NDT certifications will be an added advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000
