Natural Scientist

• Assist with scientific research, experiments, surveys, and field studies.
• Collect, record, organize, and analyze scientific and environmental data.
• Assist with laboratory testing, sampling, and preparation of materials.
• Conduct field observations and assist with environmental or scientific assessments.
• Prepare basic reports, documentation, and research findings.
• Support senior scientists and technical personnel with ongoing projects.
• Follow established laboratory, fieldwork, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of samples, observations, test results, and project activities.
• Assist in identifying and documenting environmental or scientific issues.
• Use basic scientific instruments, equipment, and software as required.
• Participate in training programs to develop technical and professional skills.
• Carry out other scientific and administrative duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Natural Science discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Geology, Zoology, or a related field.
• NYSC completion/exemption certificate may be required.
• Strong interest in scientific research and technical work.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory and fieldwork procedures.
• Good observation and data-recording skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and undergo professional training.
• Ability to work in laboratory, office, and field environments.
