Nail Cutting Operator

Salary Range: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 per month

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nail Cutting Operator to manage and operate automated nail-making machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality output in line with specifications, and strictly adhere to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor automated nail-making machines to achieve optimal production efficiency.

* Ensure all finished products meet defined quality standards and production specifications.

* Regularly measure workpieces and finished nails (including length and head diameter) using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.

* Install and securely set up die plates, nail-point cutting knives, and headers.

* Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.

* Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain continuous production flow.

* Maintain accurate production records and report any inconsistencies or defects.

* Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating nail-making or similar industrial machinery.

* Strong understanding of mechanical processes and machine operations.

* Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges.

* Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
