About This Role
As our Motion Designer, you will own how motion, animation, and storytelling come to life across Bayse. From product interactions to campaigns and social content, your work will shape how users experience, understand, and engage with the platform.
Bayse is building a prediction market and trading platform, where clarity, trust, and engagement are critical. Motion is not just decorative here. It is a core layer of communication that helps simplify complex ideas, guide user behaviour, and create memorable experiences.
You will be responsible for translating ideas, data, and narratives into compelling motion. This includes product animations, explainer content, social videos, and campaign assets. You will work closely with product, marketing, and growth teams to bring concepts to life across web, mobile, and social platforms.
This role requires someone with strong motion instincts, a sharp eye for design, and a deep understanding of storytelling. You should be able to move fast, experiment, and push creative boundaries while maintaining clarity and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own motion across the brand: Define and execute motion standards that reflect Bayse’s identity and enhance user experience across all touchpoints.
- Create high-quality motion content: Design and produce animations, short-form videos, and motion assets for campaigns, social media, and product storytelling.
- Enhance product experience: Develop motion and transitions that improve usability, clarity, and feedback within the product.
- Tell compelling stories: Translate complex concepts like prediction markets and trading into simple, engaging visual narratives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product, marketing, and growth teams to turn ideas into motion-led executions.
- Maintain consistency: Ensure motion aligns with brand guidelines and contributes to a cohesive visual system.
- Iterate and improve: Use feedback and performance insights to refine motion and improve engagement.
- Stay ahead of trends: Keep up with motion design trends, tools, and formats to keep Bayse visually relevant and distinctive.
About You
- 2–5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or video production.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion work across campaigns, social content, or product-related visuals.
- Proficient in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools. familiarity with Figma, Illustrator, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of motion principles, timing, and storytelling.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas through visual storytelling.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for creative output.
- Experience in fintech, sports, gaming, or consumer apps is a plus.
- Familiarity with prediction markets or trading concepts is a bonus, but not required.
