Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee AML/CFT/CPF compliance and financial crime controls
- Manage KYC, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes
- Conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse-media screening
- Monitor transactions and investigate suspicious activities
- Review and assess customer, partner and business risks
- Escalate and report suspicious transactions in line with regulatory requirements
- Maintain AML policies, procedures and compliance records
- Support regulatory reviews, audits and compliance investigations
- Provide compliance reports and recommendations to management
- Work with Operations, Finance, Product and other teams to strengthen compliance controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
- Experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Financial Crime or Risk Management
- Strong understanding of Nigerian AML/CFT requirements
- Experience with customer due diligence and transaction monitoring
- Strong analytical, investigative and documentation skills
- Fintech, payments, banking or other regulated financial services experience is an advantage
- CAMS, ICA or other relevant compliance certification is an added advantage
