Health Focus Diagnostic Center Enugu is seeking a skilled and motivated MIS/IT Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and passionate about supporting efficient technology operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Description

The MIS/IT Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our IT systems. Responsibilities include:

Core Duties

• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks—software updates, backups, virus scans—to ensure system stability and security.
• Hardware Support: Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty equipment as needed.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: Conduct regular checks on IT hardware performance, run tests, and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Security Support: Assist the network engineer in implementing and maintaining security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus systems.
• Technical Support: Provide prompt technical assistance to end-users and resolve hardware/software-related issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Upgrades & Migrations: Support system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Training: Train and support staff on new systems, software, and technologies.

Network: Setting up and configuring network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and 

software.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for interacting with users and IT professionals
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational skills, with attention to detail and task management

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related science field (compulsory)
• Proficiency with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux
• Solid understanding of computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
• Familiarity with common software applications, including office suites
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly
• This role is open to all—no gender preference
• Atleast 2 years experince in Healthcare MIS/IT Support is an added advantage.
