Job summary
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit mining field officer to work directly on-site and support daily mining activities. The role involves hands-on fieldwork, monitoring mining operations, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with extraction processes.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily field mining activities and site operations
- Monitor mining areas to ensure safe and proper extraction practices
- Assist with excavation, material handling, and basic equipment operations
- Observe and report safety risks, equipment issues, or operational concerns
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and use of PPE at all times
- Support loading, hauling, and stockpiling of mined materials
- Keep basic records of daily activities and site observations
- Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and other field staff
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the mining site
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mining, quarrying, or site-based field work is an advantage.
- Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding environments.
- Basic understanding of mining safety practices
- Willingness to work long hours or shifts when required
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Preferred (Added Advantage)
- Experience handling mining or construction tools/equipment
- Basic technical or vocational training
- First Aid or safety training
