Job Title: Microwave TAC Engineer – Huawei Domain

Location : Abuja

Experience : 3 -4 years experience in a telecommunication or similar industry is very compulsory

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary : 500,000 (Gross Pay)

Requirements:

Education and qualifications: BSc / HND in Computer Engineering/Telecommunications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or related field.

 Minimum 3 years' experience supporting Huawei Microwave networks.

 Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols, Networking

 Ability to interpret microwave link budgets and network topology maps.

 Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

 VLAN and Trunking protocol

 QoS in PMP networks

 Traffic monitoring through tools such as PRTG

 Working experience on NMS – Huawei Domain

Huawei Domain Expertise and exposure to U2020

 Hands on Experience in End to End configuration and maintenance of Huawei RTN 905/910/950 and 950A

 Job Description

•      Provide Level 2/3 technical support: Ensure optimal network availability and performance.

•      Fault diagnosis and remote configuration: Diagnose and resolve issues such as link failures, LOS, latency, and misconfigurations.

•      Remote technical support: Provide support for Huawei Microwave systems like RTN 900, RTN 910, RTN950 , RTN950A.

•      Site integrations and upgrades: Support new site integrations, software upgrades, and configuration changes.

•      Performance analysis: Analyze performance metrics (e.g., RSL, QoS, throughput) and recommend optimizations.

•      Escalation and upgrades: Coordinate with Huawei TAC and internal NOC teams for issue escalation and upgrades.

•      Capacity planning: Assist in link budgeting and capacity planning.

•      Documentation: Document RCA reports, SOPs, and implementation guides.

•      Training: Provide technical support and training to field engine
