Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and onboard eligible microloan clients within assigned locations.
- Conduct client business verification, basic credit assessment, and documentation checks.
- Support clients through the loan application, approval, and disbursement processes.
- Manage assigned client portfolios and maintain regular contact with borrowers.
- Monitor loan utilisation and identify potential repayment risks early.
- Follow up actively on repayments to ensure collections are made as and when due.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, applications, disbursements, collections, and loan performance.
- Achieve assigned weekly and monthly loan-disbursement and recovery targets.
- Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business from eligible clients.
- Escalate repayment concerns, client complaints, documentation gaps, and fraud-risk indicators promptly.
- Represent the organisation professionally during all client, market, and field engagements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND in any discipline.
- Between 0 and 2 years’ experience in microfinance, lending, field sales, direct sales, collections, customer acquisition, or a related role.
- Experience within a microfinance bank, lending company, cooperative, FMCG field-sales role, or customer-acquisition role is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with fieldwork, client visits, daily follow-up, and target-based work.
- High level of resilience, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of loan processes, client documentation, repayment follow-up, and customer management is an advantage.
- Candidates resident in, or able to commute conveniently to, Ibeju-Lekki and surrounding locations will have an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achievement of assigned weekly and monthly client-acquisition and loan-disbursement targets.
- Strong loan-repayment and collection performance across assigned clients.
- Quality of client onboarding, documentation, and verification.
- Accuracy and timeliness of client records, field reports, and portfolio updates
- Positive customer experience, retention, and professional representation of the organisation.
Remuneratio: NGN100,000
