MEP Tender & Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for all MEP disciplines, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and relevant project components.
• Request, obtain, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and package comprehensive technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Ensure timely delivery of all tender documentation in line with client schedules.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Projects, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of tender proposals.
• Assist in value engineering exercises and optimization of proposals to enhance competitiveness.
• Support the company’s bid strategy and ensure all submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on experience in MEP tendering, estimation, or related roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and technical evaluation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
