MEP Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily maintenance and operation of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Plan and coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime.
• Supervise technicians, artisans, and external contractors during maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of MEP equipment and building systems.
• Coordinate repairs and follow up on outstanding maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, repairs, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor the use of maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Liaise with management, vendors, and contractors where necessary.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and other maintenance emergencies.

Requirements:

• HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in MEP maintenance, facilities management, or building services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience supervising technicians and contractors.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Good communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance activities effectively.
