MEP Engineer
Job summary
Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities in Enugu. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing, with proven experience supervising site operations and ensuring quality project delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical installations, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, consultants, and other project team members to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify technical issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and work schedules to ensure accurate implementation.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare progress reports and provide updates on site activities, materials, and outstanding works.
- Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and resources while minimising waste and delays.
Requirements:
- HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in MEP works.
- Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing installations.
- Proven ability to supervise site activities and coordinate multiple trades.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Good problem-solving, communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and engineering standards.
