Perception Foundation Nigeria is dedicated to fostering awareness, advocacy, and community engagement around neurodevelopmental disorders. As part of the global Perception Foundation, the organization strives to create an inclusive society by promoting understanding and advocating for supportive environments for neurodiverse individuals. Through education, fundraising, and the creation of sensory-friendly spaces, Perception Foundation Nigeria empowers young leaders and volunteers to drive meaningful change. The organization also facilitates the creation of Perception Clubs across communities and institutions to promote youth leadership and community-driven initiatives. Focused on raising awareness and strengthening support systems, the foundation is committed to ensuring neurodiversity is respected and embraced across Nigeria.
Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Member role based in Ibadan with flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include supporting and implementing community outreach initiatives and advocacy campaigns, organizing awareness programs, and promoting the development of sensory-friendly spaces. Members are expected to engage in volunteer coordination and mentorship, contribute to fundraising efforts, and collaborate with community stakeholders to advance the foundation’s mission. Additional responsibilities include participating in Perception Club activities and supporting the overall operations of the organization.

Qualifications
- Strong community engagement and outreach skills, with experience in organizing events and initiatives.
- Experience in advocacy, fundraising, and building partnerships with stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking, writing, and active listening.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a passion for raising awareness about neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- A commitment the values of inclusion, equity, and advocacy for neurodiverse communities.
