Medical Sales Representative
Job summary
As a Medical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in detailing and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, distributors, and retail outlets, convincing them to prescribe our products.

Responsibilities:
HCP Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within healthcare organisations.
- Understand their patients’ needs and recommend company products tailored to meet the patients’ needs
- Respond promptly to product inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
- Build businesses of distributors by daily redistribution of company products for quick liquidation, payment, and repurchase
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure satisfaction
Product detailing, Sales and Marketing:
- Visit hospitals and pharmacies to detail company products to consultants, doctors and pharmacists to generate prescriptions and sales.
- Attend product training sessions and continuously improve product knowledge.
- Handle product marketing, distribution, and sales within assigned territories.
- Hold roundtable discussions and clinical meetings with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and pharmacists, training them on the quality and benefits of our products for their patients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the healthcare sector.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to help enhance our offerings and market positioning.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, KOL interactions, prescriptions, and sales forecasts using the company-assigned CRM tool.
- Prepare regular reports and updates for sales management.
Requirements:
- B. Pharm/Pharm D, B.Sc. – Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and other related basic medical science courses
- 0-2 years of previous experience as a detailing medical sales representative.
- Must have completed NYSC
- Passion for Sales and Marketing
