Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets within the surgical equipment market.
- Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, surgical centers, and other healthcare facilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of surgical equipment and devices.
- Provide product training and support to healthcare professionals, ensuring proper usage and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the surgical equipment market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to effectively position company products.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring profitability while meeting their needs.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network with potential clients and stay updated on market developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product development, customer service, and logistics to address customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience Sales and Marketing, medical device sales, preferably in the surgical equipment will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and familiarity with surgical equipment and instruments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate product features and benefits to healthcare professionals.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients, attend conferences, and conduct product demonstrations.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure contracts and agreements with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
