Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings into written documents, ensuring correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Review and edit drafts prepared by speech recognition software for accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Research and verify terminology, especially medical terms, to ensure accuracy.
- Meet daily or weekly transcription targets and turnaround times.
- Communicate with team members or clients to clarify unclear audio or terminology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare care administration, health information management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical / General Transcriptionist or general
- Experience in medical transcription and familiarity with medical terminology is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in transcription software and word processing tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Remuneration: NGN 500,000
