Job Description/Requirements
- Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
- Analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
- Creating captivating content for an organisation’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
- Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
- Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to our brand
- Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
- Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
- Managing a social media team and guiding junior members
- Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy
- Deep demonstrable knowledge of the following platforms and their integrated insight tools: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. And LinkedIn and Discord are nice to have.
- Develop and implement social media strategies across multiple platforms that effectively meet the client’s marketing and business objectives.
- Setting KPIs, tracking performance and reporting, and optimizing content to continuously improve.
- Working with the wider OOB team on the strategic planning of multi-channel social media campaigns, in line with wider marketing team tasks and objectives.
- Creating day-to-day content for clients using Canva or Sketch, as well as video editing.
- Plan and optimize engaging content calendars for each client, reviewing their effectiveness and identifying opportunities to drive deeper engagement with audiences.
- Set up and manage effective reporting processes on social media and campaign activity, while providing recommendations to meet objectives and KPIs.
- Upholding our clients’ tone of voice, messaging styles, and design guidelines across all communications to ensure content is on brand.
- Devising and managing influencer campaigns when required; proven experience with influencer engagement preferred.
- Develop and implement the brand’s paid and organic social media strategies with the aim of:
- Driving new traffic through our acquisition funnel
- Increasing brand awareness and engagement among existing and new audiences
- Lead on all paid social media campaigns, managing all activity end-to-end with the aim of acquiring new customers around key sports and betting events throughout the year.
- Ownership of an organic and paid social media roadmap and a monthly calendar to meet specific objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day running of accounts, including organic content.
- Define targeting strategies to reach relevant audiences, employing a test and
- Work closely with our internal creative team to produce all relevant artwork required to ensure campaigns ‘cut through’ the noise.
- Own the social media roadmap, leading the content planning and delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, ensuring the ongoing success of paid and organic campaigns.
- Continually improve internal services and processes.
- Leverage findings to inform the paid media strategy and targeting to build better media plans.
- Be the subject matter expert on social media, keeping up to date with trends and innovation in the space, as well as ensuring all activity is compliant in line with regulatory and compliance guidelines
