We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Buyer/ Planner (Traditional Marketing). We are looking for a highly talented, motivated, and results-oriented media buyer with a strong focus on the Nigeria market, including both traditional and digital paid media.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Media Strategy, Buying, Planning, and Implementation:

• Develop integrated media strategies
• Identify and understand target audiences
• Determine the most effective media mix to deliver campaigns
• Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate media campaigns and strategies
• Plan, implement, and optimise paid media campaigns
• Buy media across radio, TV, cable, and other traditional platforms
• Set KPIs for digital campaigns, monitor performance, and optimise accordingly
• Track and measure campaign performance
• Present campaign reports to clients
• Assist with the campaign billing process
• Report on campaign performance on a weekly or monthly basis

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in media buying
• Broad knowledge of both traditional and digital media channels
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical mindset with an aptitude for statistics and data analysis
• Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying processes
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills
• Highly analytical and data-driven
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Hands-on experience with digital buying tools and analytics platforms (Google Ads/PPC, Meta Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics, Tag Manager)
• Current Google Ads certifications
• Facebook Blueprint Certification in Media Buying (advantageous)
• Proven experience in campaign management and optimisation
• Experience working with data analytics teams to improve campaign performance
• Strong track record, highly organised, and a team player
• Excellent attention to detail

Qualifications

• Matric
• Relevant degree or tertiary qualification (preferred)
