Mechanical Engineering Technicians

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and production systems to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, boilers, and other mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes of equipment failures, and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of mechanical equipment to improve operational performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and maintenance procedures while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment service logs, inspection reports, and documentation of repairs and spare parts usage.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance, improve plant reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work shifts

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 – 200,000 monthly
