Mechanical Operator

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the company’s heavy-duty generating engines at Fedikore’s power plant (plant).
• Work as a shift operator to run the generating engines at Fedikore’s various Sites
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on the generating equipment, as well as support and ancillary equipment at the plant, to ensure optimal performance.
• Handling of Mechanical works at the plant and clarifying the progress of works on completion.
• Ensure that work is done in compliance with all relevant operating and safety codes.
• Predict resources needed to complete projects and communicate with the Management promptly.
• Protect all company equipment and property diligently.
• Help identify appropriate subcontractors when necessary and generate a work description.
• Oversee and manage all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities at the plant where necessary.
• To perform routine inspection and preventive/ reactive maintenance on all plant tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Monitor and review the schedule and delivery of all equipment, tools, and supplies to the plant.
• Performing duties efficiently, minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization, while also undertaking additional tasks directed by Management. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Minimum of a Diploma
